A life changing experience in Uganda
A group from Parkwood 6th form went on a ten day trip to Uganda. Through the Quicken Trust charity the 26 students and staff were volunteering in the large village of Kabubbu.
Year 9 District Cup winners
The Year 9 team at William Parker are celebrating after winning the South East Sussex Schools FA District Cup title. They triumphantly beat Cavendish School 2-1, in the league final at the Pilot Field, on Wednesday 2nd May.
Year 9 Rugby County Champions
The Year 9 Rugby team are celebrating after winning the County Shield 10-a-side Rugby competition at Brighton RFC. Congratulations go to the team who conducted themselves perfectly and were a shining example to the College.
Year 8 District Cup winners
The U13 team are celebrating after winning the District Cup Championship title. William Parker Year 8s triumphantly beat Seaford Head 3-0 at the Pilot Field on Wednesday 2nd May.
On Yer Bike cycle challenge
Staff and students braved appalling weather conditions to take part in the On Yer Bike Challenge. The annual event, organised by the St Leonards Rotary Club in support of local charities, started and finished at the RNLI lifeboat station.

Former students in World Cups
William Parker Sports College joins a small, if not unique group of schools who can boast former students who have represented their country in World Cup finals of two different sports. Michael Yardy has a world cup winners medal from the cricket 20/20 world cup in the West Indies and Gareth Barry played for England in South Africa.
