College Careers Service
The WP Careers service is run by Marie Byas and Jane Saunders (pictured). Most of their work is done in years 9, 10 and 11 and includes the following
- A teaching programme about a wide range of career opportunities
- Lessons focussed on choices for year 10
- Lessons focussed on choices after year 11 - training, college, sixth form, employment. Help with applications
- Support for individual students (and their parents) to discuss training and career possibilities and requirements
- Arranging talks and visits
