76% get five or more A-C grades
William Parker Sports College has again achieved the best GCSE results since becoming a comprehensive school. 76% of students achieved 5 A* to C grades with 38% of the year group of 224 boys, achieving 5 A* to C grades including English and Maths.
6th Formers Celebrate Record A Level Results
Students from the Federal 6th Form are celebrating a 99% A Level pass rate, with 5% of students achieving the sought after A* grade.
Eastenders star opens new Food Technology Suite
Eastenders star Nina Wadia swapped Albert Square for William Parker Sports College to open the new high-tech Food Technology suite. The soap star was on hand to unveil the recently completed food technology facilities, meet some of the budding Jamie Olivers set to use them and sample their food.
Brand New Sports Hall
A new Sports Hall equivalent to the size of 7 badminton courts is being built at William Parker.
Former students in World Cups
William Parker Sports College joins a small, if not unique group of schools who can boast former students who have represented their country in World Cup finals of two different sports. Michael Yardy has a world cup winners medal from the recently held cricket 20/20 world cup in the West Indies and Gareth Barry has recently played for England in South Africa.
